One week on from the return to training
One week has passed since the reintroduction of training for the Valencia CF squad, in modified conditions in accordance with LaLiga's guidelines -approved by the CSD and Ministry of Health. The past seven days have brought a semblance of normality to the training ground, albeit with wholesale changes to respect social distancing and the highest degree of safety precautions.

The players are back to work, but not quite together. Individual training sessions appear to be the order of the day for at least the near future, but the coaching staff have adapted to get the players back to full fitness and resharpen their ball skills.

Gloves, masks and specfic training equipment for each player, as well as staggered arrival times, keep the potential spread of any contagion to a minimum, and everyone at the club is taking such precautions seriously.

The focus is on a potential return to LaLiga competition in June, subject to a final decision by the relevant authorities. In the meantime, the squad are working with that idea in mind and motivation as high as ever.
